Hutridurga fort was built by Kempegowda and is about 500 years old. Ruined fortifications are still visible on the two hillocks surrounding the village. It was seven tiered fort. Its one among the Nine Durgas around Bangalore (Nava Durgas). It has a small temple dedicated to Shiva and Nandi. The hill is a solid mass of rock and has the peculiar appearance of an inverted cup. It is a popular day trek for enthusiasts and is located close to the Bengaluru.
