Kamalesh, a depressed gay designer in Mumbai, invites his friends over for counsel and comfort. His friends are outraged to discover that Kamalesh is still in love with Prakash, a homophobic homosexual whom he had met in Bangalore. Confusion ensues as Kamalesh's sister drops in and announces the news of her engagement to Ed, an old friend. Tensions rise as a vindictive queen, a level-headed lesbian, a coconut and a TV star try to piece things together from what is said and unsaid. The conflict of identities that each character embodies signifies what it is to be queer in in a society that is unforgivingly ignorant and intolerant of homosexuality.
