Want to apply your knowledge creatively? This workshop is about providing opportunities for students to develop their capability, combining their designing and making skills with knowledge and understanding in order to create quality products in the future.

At The Great Indian Derby, we make educational toys for students to teach them concepts of science and engineering. We are always finding ways to foster arts infused science education. One of our toys teaches you the science and art behind Automobile making. We have now developed a 3 hour workshop module for the same to teach the creators and learners of the future. Module:

DAY 1: 

Understanding the Design Specifications given. Here, you will learn to apply scientific concepts in different contexts.

DAY 2 :

Crafting your car from a block of soft wood as per the Design specification. Here, you learn to combine your conceptual understanding with your design and making skills.

DAY 3:

Test your design on our race track. Check for yourself how aerodynamically sound and conceptually strong your design is.
