Ladakh a word which means "land of high passes", is a region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir of Northern India sandwiched between the Karakoram mountain range to the north and the Himalayas to the south. The Indian portion of Ladakh is composed of the Leh and Kargil districts. The Leh district is the largest district of India, covering more than half the area of Jammu and Kashmir, of which it is the eastern part.
In this trip we cover Leh, Pangong lake, Nubra valley, Khardung la and go all the way to Srinagar via Kargil.
The trip begins from Manali and ends in Srinagar after 8 days. The detailed itinerary is described below.
Day0 - Reach Manali and go around Manali
Day 1 - Manali to Sarchu
We start the journey to Sarchu via Rohtang Pass (3978 m), Keylong (3350 m) & Baralacha Pass (4890 m).
Overnight stop at Sarchu (The border of Himachal & Jammu-Kashmir)
Day 2 - Sarchu to Leh
After an early breakfast, proceed to Leh via Namkeela, Lachangla Pass (16,617 feet) & Skyangchu Thang (Biggest & Highest plateau in the world of around 42 km) and Pang. Admire the beautiful scenic journey on the Manali Leh Highway (Considered to be the most beautiful valley in the world). Cross the Taglangla Pass and travel through the scenic Indus Valley. Reach Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 - Leh to Pangong Lake
Again, after an early breakfast, visit sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and Sindhu Ghat. Proceed to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (17,586 feet), the second highest motorable road in the world. Pangong Lake is a salt water body, 120 km in length and 7 Km broad at its widest. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “3 Idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven color formations in the crystal clear salt water lake. Overnight stay in Pangong
Day 4 - Pangong Lake to Nubra
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never-ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet). After spending some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra. After hotel check-in, enjoy Camel Safari in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 5 - Nubra to Leh
After breakfast, travel back to Leh. Enjoy your stay in Leh by visiting Shanthi Stupa, Leh market, etc. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 - Leh to Kargil
After breakfast, proceed to Kargil. En route, visit Gurudwara Patthar Saheb, Magnetic Hill, Lamayuru (The oldest monastery in Ladakh) and Mulbek (known for its huge Buddha Statue). Overnight stay in Kargil (via Srinagar Leh Highway. Enjoy a short halt at Sonmarg. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 7 - Kargil to Srinagar
After an early breakfast, proceed to Srinagar. En route, visit the Kargil War memorial in Drass and Zozilla War memorial to pay tribute to the Indian Army. It was in this very region in which the Indian Army fought and won the famous war of Kargil. Reach Srinagar in the evening. Tour concludes with some wonderful memories. Srinagar is the end-point for the trip.

e. Maintain discipline and follow the Facilitator's instructions at all times.

The trip will take you to about 18,000 ft which is High Altitude Zone and can lead to altitude sickness.
