About The Event

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organizing 2nd Edition of IoT-AI Summit, a one day conference with the theme “Transforming the Enterprises into Smart & Intelligent Businesses” on 20 December 2018 at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad.

The objectives of IoT-AI Summit is to provide a platform to discuss the opportunities provided by Internet of Things (IoT) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the industry, to bring together industry experts and other stakeholders to exchange and share the recent innovations, trends, and discuss the concerns and practical challenges and demonstrate novel IoT & AI technologies, platforms and solutions adopted for business competence.

Internet of Things is transforming the real world objects into intelligent virtual objects. The IoT aims to unify everything in our world under a common infrastructure, giving us not only control of things around us, but also keeping us informed of the state of the things. Since the inception of IoT concept in 1990s, it has recently become more relevant to the practical world largely because of the growth of mobile devices, embedded and ubiquitous communication, seamless internet, cloud computing and data analytics.

Whereas the Artificial Intelligence (AI) started impacting multiple fields, even those that we least expect it to. Along with AI, Machine learning, a crucial component of AI, will also continue to gain in importance in coming years. The functioning of AI is getting more versatile with each passing day. Some estimates show that nearly 40 percent of businesses may be using AI to automate their processes by as early as next year. With the integration of AI solutions to execute specific tasks, the businesses gain the competitive edge and provide a higher-quality service experience for consumers.
