Full of vibrant colors and good vibes, this run is hands down the Happiest 5k on the Planet.

It celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. With over 6 million runners worldwide in 35+ cities, this run now comes to India. Brace it with open arms, wide smiles and a bag full of color. Well this is your dream come true. In color!

While at the run, eat, drink, dance and make merry. Explore various color zones as you run along to the end. After all, this run has a finish line that gets you started. How you ask? Well that’s for you to come and see.

*A few of the most commonly asked questions :

1. Do I need to be some sweet ole’ runner to do this? No! ‘The Color Run’ is all about spending a colour crazy day with friends and family. You can run, walk, crawl, or even cartwheel if you wish!

2. What is included with my registration? For our Dream Tour events, each registered runner will receive the 2017 limited edition Dream Tour Participant Kit which has:

a. A super soft new tee,

b. A unicorn finisher’s medal,

c. A packet of colors,

Also, all runners will be emailed about 10 days prior to the race with Event information.

3. What is the inspiration behind The Color Run?

The Color Run is the first paint race of its kind and was inspired by several awesome events including Disney’s World of Color and the Holi festival from India. An untimed running environment that is more about health and happiness we aim to inspire continual healthy living.

4. Can children participate?

On one condition, if you are prepared to be one of the hippest moms/dads on the planet!

There is an option for all Little Color Runners 10 and younger on the registration form. They can register for a super low fee and get the full participant kit.

5. Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?

For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at any of our races

6. How is the color administered along the course?

You will see smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse you in colorful powder  to ensure that you look like you ran through a beautiful rainbow by the time you cross the      finish line.

7. Is The Color Run safe?

As a professional events company with highly vetted policies and processes, we conduct thorough testing to ensure the safety of our materials and their application. The Color Run has hosted more than 500 global events with more than four million participants and is committed to staging safe and secure events.

8. Will the color ruin clothes or running shoes?

The color does mostly wash out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. We suggest wearing items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.

9. How does the color affect the inside of cars?

Most people bring some towels for the insides of their cars, or a change of clothes just in case.

10. Do the kilometer Color Zones affect runner vision? Or breathing?

The color powder used at The Color Run event is all certified non-toxic and free of any heavy metals. Our bright colors are a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C dyes. As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and our certified color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. Some Color Runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths.

11. Are cameras and phones safe to have in the color zones?

Our race photographers are generally fine shooting from a medium distance of 50 feet, but to be totally safe we always recommend covering cameras/phones with a protective dust wrap. Those colorful powder particles are sneaky and The Color Run is not liable for any damage that might be done to your camera!

12. Is The Color Run timed?

The Color Run 5k is not a timed event. Runners tend to take their sweet time out there and we realized no one really cares about their speed. We suggest self-timing for anyone desiring a finish time.

13. Are there refunds?

If an event is held as advertised, we cannot issue refunds. The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible. Just make sure you are good to go before signing up. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the Check-In Party, pick up your gear, and say hi to us!

14. Can I transfer my registration to another person?

    Registrations are non-transferable

 15. What if I am pregnant?

It’s totally up to what you and your doctor decide. The powder is all certified non-toxic. Â We recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles, and a bandana over your mouth and nose in the color zones just for extra protection.

16. What happens if there is bad weather?

A little rain won’t stop The Happiest 5k! If there are major weather warnings in your city during the weekend of the event, check the city event webpage and Facebook, and stay tuned for emails with updates. In the event that severe weather does threaten the event, we have prepared some weather cancellation policies and guidelines.
