The 7th CSI-InApp National Student Project will be culminating with the awards ceremony that is scheduled from 4:00 pm - 5: 30 pm on Saturday, June 9th at Vivanta by Taj, Thiruvananthapuram. Sri. M Sivasankar IAS, Secretary, IT, Govt. of Kerala has consented to be the Chief Guest of the Award Ceremony.
This year the event received 776 project submissions from across 22 states in the country. The judging panel evaluated an interesting mix of software solutions, some of which use the latest technologies such as Blockchain, IoT, Deep learning, Robotics, Machine learning, Augmented reality, and Image processing.
The Project Androl, an IoT based home automation system for energy management has been adjudged the best project. The system was developed by Aravinda Kumar R. C, from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The runner up position went to the project ‘OCR for Devanagari Script using TensorFlow Technology’ from MIT College of Engineering, Pune.
