About The Event

As per Hindu Mythology Dhanvantari is the god of medicine and divine propagator of Ayurveda. Some scriptures even consider him as avatar of Lord Vishnu, who brought the Amtruta Bhandam into physical existence. Earlier days every family in which family member is going through medical treatment used to Dhanvantari puja to pray for the sound health of the family member and all others to provide mental and physical strength to overcome the illness.

There is no need to explain about the Carona Virus pandemic gripping the world right now. No one is sure how its complete impact on human body. Some people don't even know they have it because their immunity is able to fight it, some people are able to with their physical and mental strength overcome it but few people are succumbing to this virus. For now washing hands, social distancing, and not going out for non-essential things are the only ways to prevent this virus. In short, these are the exact times where our elders advised Dhanvantaru puja as a solution to gain the confidence to overcome health issues.

It is not advisable to go out for Dhanvantari Puja or invite pandit to home to conduct the puja. The virus from which we want to save yourself shouldn't spread by the puja we want to do, to stop its spread. So for the benefit of all devotees, we Janata Temple are conducting Dhanvantari Puja online via zoom on 6th June 2020. We are requesting all devotees to make use of this opportunity and register for this ePuja and attend it via zoom call.

To provide a quality experience to every devotee we will be limiting the number of devotee families attending this puja session to 10. Devotees are advised to sit at their home Puja Room or any other calm place eligible for spiritual activity and join the zoom call. Janata Temple's customer service executive will be onboarding every devotee into the call, make sure everyone is comfortable before starting the puja. At the end of the puja, pandit will interact with every devotee and provide his blessings.

This puja will be live-streamed on our facebook page. Devotees who are not comfortable with the live stream can disable video and join with audio-only.

We will allow only four members in the family per ticket. If you have more members you need to take an extra ticket.
