Fit Hyderabad Run

RUNNER'S CLUB: We are a club based in Hyderabad whose members consist of athletes and fitness enthusiasts - both current and former. 

The club committee has decided to conduct a road race on December 8th december (SUNDAY), 2019 at the necklace road as an initiative to raise awareness about having a healthy lifestyle. 

Of late, most of the population in Hyderabad is trending towards irregular sleeping hours and eating habits which is resulting in health issues both physically and mentally ( short and long term). 

Another area of concern is that most schools and colleges do not have a minimum open space to conduct physical and fitness activities.

This road race aims to highlight these issues and ways to improve the lifestyle and promote the importance of physical activity in daily life.

A Zumba workshop will be held prior to the race as part of the warm-up session and also to raise awareness upon the benefits of it.

The race will be conducted in 3 disciplines - 10k,5k,2k starting at people's plaza going North towards Sanjeevaiah park and back. The expected participants would be around 1000.

2k - for boys and girls under 14 years

5k and 10k - for all age groups(men and women)

Every participant will receive BIB number, certificate, and refreshment
