Startup networking events usually end up in an exchange of business cards without much know-how. Too mundane, right? Let's twist this situation into an event where you actually connect with people and get to know them by becoming friends.
Here is how it will unfold its flow.
Stage 1: Find your co-founder
As you arrive at the venue, you will be given a chit. The chit will consist of the description of a co-founder of a startup. Out of all the people present at the event, you will out the co-founder who suits the description given in the chit. Once you have found him/her, you both form a team. A team that has the ability to convert cash into equity.
Stage 2: Convert cash to equity
When two people form a partnership, the money they both bring in becomes the equity for the startup, right? Thus, both of you together get to exchange your ticket amount into equity of a much higher amount from the Incuspaze team in this which acts like your incubator even in this game.
Stage 3: Games
In order to pitch the investor, you need to multiply your equity. After a series of interesting games like Flip the cup, Balloon and cups, Field goal, Fall into place and Back flip, you will be able to generate enough equity to be able to bid for your investor. A total of 40 teams will fight their way through the games and collect as much equity as possible.
Stage 4: Bid for your investor.
Only 20 teams out of 40 teams will qualify, depending upon the equity, to be able to bid for the investor. The higher your bid, the more are your chances to pitch the investor. The team that wins the bid gets 15 minutes to pitch, the first runner-up gets 10 minutes while the second runner-up gets 5 minutes to pitch.
Stage 5: Pitch and network
The investors are with you under the same roof with all their ears open to listen to your startup idea. What are you waiting for? Go pitch and expand your network!
