Headstart has successfully completed a decade of supporting and nurturing startups and fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship. This has resulted in tremendous opportunities for the young startup founders from as early as 2007 when starting up was not a fancy thing. To commemorate a decade of entrepreneurial excellence, Headstart proudly brings to you, Headstart X - a celebration of the spirit of paying it forward.
This has been a journey of 10 years, during which nearly 300 volunteers have contributed selflessly to create an accessible ecosystem for early stage entrepreneurs. Together they have organised 1000+ startup events/initiatives, impacting 15,000 startups/new ventures directly and enabling over a million connections. Companies that have pitched or made early stage demos at Headstart’s initiatives, have created over 4,00,000 direct jobs and added INR 42,000 crore to the Indian economy. And yet - marching ahead at an incredible pace, growing to 23 cities with over 120 active volunteers. This is a story of grit, determination, passion and perseverance of 300 young men and women of this country working silently towards to changing India through entrepreneurship.
