What is the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School?
The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School is an annual large-scale event organised by a number of Dutch and Indian organisations for students and young professionals interested in cyber security issues. The central goal of this school is to give interested students and young professionals the opportunity to grow professionally as well as academically in the sphere of cyber security. Are you an student or young professional with an interest in cyber security?
Register here for the sixth annual IDCSS, taking place from October 6th to November 10th 2023, offering 20 lectures on a wide range of cyber security-related topics from renowned experts. Additionally, IDCSS offers the opportunity to work on real case studies provided by leading Indian and Dutch organisations.
It should be noted that there is only a limited number of places available. You do not need to have a background in Cyber security or any directly related field of study, but we are looking for candidates who are highly motivated to kick-start or further develop their knowledge in the field of Cyber security. We furthermore give priority to students and young professionals who sign up early, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible!
What is the IDCSS23?
The program of the IDCSS consists of two parts.
The first part takes place from October 6-26th, consisting of 20 lectures from renowned experts on a wide range of cyber security-related topics, such as ethics, accountability, hardware security, incident response, data protection and norms and governance. This year, the new topics of Cryptography and Artificial Intelligence will also be introduced.
The second part will take place from October 27 until November 10, where groups will work together on case studies provided by leading Indian and Dutch organisations and pitch their findings to a panel of experts that will subsequently determine the best proposal(s). The members of the best teams will be awarded distinctions and certificates!
Certifications
Students who successfully participate in the IDCSS will be rewarded with an official certificate. Two types of certificates will be hand out, one for participation in the lectures, and the other for the successful completion of the projects.
Note: The processing of the certification is an automated process. In order to be eligible for certification, students are required to use their official credentials (for example, your first name, surname and email) and use these consistently.
Registration Fee:
A nominal registration fee will be charged of €5 or ₹500.
Please note by registering for the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School 2023, you acknowledge and consent to share your data with both the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies and partners integral to the facilitation of the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School.
