Mrs Inderjeet Kaur is an officer from the Indian Defence Estates Service,1990 batch. During her service of 31 years and she has served as the head of multiple offices.
At the DGDE headquarters she was handling VIP cases, Audit matters and was monitoring the lands section. Earlier she has also served as the Deputy Director General responsible for Land Acquisition and Training & as Assistant Director General responsible for Hiring. At the Western Command and Central Command, she served as Director and Joint Director respectively. In the Western Command she was responsible for 13 cantonments and 06 DEO circles in Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. In the Central Command which is spread over Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odhisha she was responsible for land management, cadre management administration and handled court cases. In the field she has served as the Cantonment Executive Officer for Lucknow, Varanasi and Babina, and was responsible for Development, Municipal work, Cadre Management, Education, Environment, Elections and Census. She also served as Defence Estates Officer; Lucknow responsible for Defence estate management.
On Deputation, she served as Director (Police) for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, she was responsible for the cadre management (recruitment, training, empanelment, promotions, and awards) of IPS officers across the nation. She also handled work related to global peace making through police missions.
She served as Additional Director General for Door Darshan responsible for Finance, Films, DCS and DTH.
