Korigad Night trek and camping :

The fort is located about 923 m (3,028 ft) above sea level, rising over 200 m (660 ft) higher than the neighboring valleys. To the east, there lie two artificial lakes part of the Aamby Valley project which later drain into the Mulshi reservoir. A temple to its patron goddess Koraidevi also exists along with several smaller temples to dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva. The former has been recently renovated and has a 3 foot high Deepmala(tower of lamps).The interesting part of the fort is that its wall is completely intact and one can walk along its entire perimeter(about 2 km). Its massive gate is also intact. Several ruins of older structures within the fort still exist. It has six cannons - the largest of which called the Laxmi Toph is located near the Korai Devi temple.

Reporting at : Lonavala Railway station at 6:00 PM on March 10,2018

How to Reach :

From Pune : Catch 4:25 pm local train from Pune. You will reach lonavala by 5:50 pm. Organisers will join you from pune.

From Mumbai : Konark express (3:10 pm from CST). You will reach lonavala by 6:00 pm.

Things to Carry :

• Sports shoes or sandals with good grip, extra pair of clothes
• 2 lit water bottle(compulsory), 3/4ths or shorts or track bottoms, Cap, sunglasses
• Snacks while trekking
• Personal medication requirements if any.
• Blanket, toothpaste and brush, mosquito repellent
• Torch, camera and Bluetooth speakers(optional)

Schedule of the Trek:    Day 1:
1. Reporting at Pune railway station by 4:00 PM sharp. (Mumbai participants will meet at Lonavala at 6:00 pm)
2. 6:00 – 7:00 P.M:- Local transport from Lonavala to Korigad base.
3. 7:00 PM :- Trek starts.
4. 8:30 PM : Reach fort top . Camp setup and games.
5. 10.00 PM : Dinner.
6. Games and fun around Bonfire post dinner
7. 11:30 PM : Retire for the day. Tents will be on sharing basis. 3 / 4 person per tent.

Day 2:

1. 6:30 AM :- Wake up call.
2. 7:00 AM :- Trek to base village.
3. 8:00 AM : Have breakfast. Local transport to Lonavala.
4. 9:30 AM : Reach Lonavala. Pune participants will catch local to pune and Mumbai participants can catch express train to Mumbai.

Inclusions:

• 1 Breakfast, 1 Dinner(veg/non veg), Transport Lonavala – Base village - Lonavala
• Tent accommodation on sharing basis
• First aid and expertise.

Exclusions : Anything which is not described in Inclusions  section will not be provided, any personal orders, tea/coffee, mineral water.

Trail Fees : 
1. 650 per Trekker.

2. 600 per trekker for group bookings above 10 nos.

6 days prior – 80% refund

6 days from the event date, no refund will be provided.

Please follow the timings given and we will make sure that nothing is missed from the decided plan. 

Behavior during trek
Participants are expected to behave cordially with each other. Smoking and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. Please make sure a person’s behavior does not prove to be a discomfort for others.
