11th – 13th April 2019 is going to witness a grandiose event biking on out of the ordinary trail. It is the benchmark event for atmosphere, innovation and organisation. Please find below the itinerary for more details:
How to Reach?
Train: Ranikhet Express; Board the train from Old Delhi station and get down at Kathgodam.
From Kathgodam station, Fairlight trails Nainital which will hardly take you half an hour by road.
Day 0 –11th April 2019: Arrival after 4 PM
Day 0 is also known as the registration day. Riders will have to formally register themselves at thevenue by 6 PM. Arrival and check in at the resort in Nainital. Everyone congregates by evening.This is followed by rider briefing, where the riders will be informed about the route and the race structure for the next two days.Riders will also collect their rider numbers on day 0. The day ends with dinner and informal interaction between the riders.

Day 1 –12th April 2019: Race
Places Enroute:Pangot and Village
Day 1 of the race the riders will start the day bright and early at 6:00 am with a cup of stiff mountain tea and light breakfast.
The race begins from Fairlight Trails. You head to Pangot which is 17 kms away with approx. 10 kms flat and the rest of the terrain being a mix of major ascent and partial downhill. Enjoy the wilderness in the meandering lanes penetrating through the dense forest with the breath-taking backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas. Back to the resort and retire for the day.
Nainital has earned the epithet of ‘Lake District’ of India. It is said that the left eye (Nain) of Sati fell here and formed the emerald eye-shaped lake. In the evening you could simply pedal in the serene Nainital Lake and watch the cares of the modern world slip away. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 2– 13th April 2018: Race
Places Enroute: Pangot, China Peak
The second day of the race will commence post breakfast and briefing for the day, rider’s flag off to Vinayak enroute through Kilbury - Vinayak - Kunjakharak an altitude of 2512 M (8242 ft) above sea level. This is the highest point of the race. A total of 65kms off-road ride, amazing single-track with great flow, tons of jumps, and fast terrain.
From Kunjakhadak head towards Kungkhark via Vinayak and race towards Pangot. Pedal for last 4 kms to reach the finish line.
In the evening, cheer for yourself and the winner in the felicitation ceremony and prize distribution. Let yourself loose and bask in the glory of your accomplishment. Dinner and overnight at the resort in Nainital.

Day 3: 14th April 2019
Post breakfast check out from Nainital.
It’s time to wish adios to the royal forest of Deodhar trees, the blissfully undiluted silence, the crisp air laden with the scent of pines, and finally the enthralling ambiance of the Himalayan range and retrace your path back home. Reach Delhi and proceed for your onward destination.
