On Dec. 31, we will be chanting the powerful hymn Daridrya Dukha Dahana Stotram to destroy poverty, sorrows and diseases and perform Navavidha Prayaschitta Homa to cleanse old limiting karma creating suffering and start anew.
On Jan. 1, we will be chanting 10 kinds of Vedic mantras for good fortune, protection, wealth, relationships, health and obstacle removal, followed by a Pooja to Shodasha Mahalakshmi (16 forms of Wealth Goddess Lakshmi) and 2 Grand Fire Labs invoking Shodasha Mahalakshmi and Ganapati, the Lord of New Beginnings, for an obstacle-free, happy, successful and prosperous New Year.
