Conference Aims and Objectives

Air pollution issues remain one of the most challenging problems facing not only India but the international community. The series has demonstrated the wide-spread nature of the air pollution phenomena and has explored in depth their impacts on human health and the environment.

Growing urbanization &deteriorating air quality is posing the most dangerous health issues in India. A common type of air pollution happens when people release particles into the air from burning fuels. This pollution looks like soot. containing millions of tiny particles. floating in the air. Another common type of air pollution is dangerous gases, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides. and chemical vapors. These can take part in further chemical reactions once they are in the atmosphere, creating acid rain and smog. Other sources of air pollution can come from within buildings, such as second-hand smoke.

There are some effective methods which are used to control air pollution. These are used to filter and purify the air which is polluted. Diffusion of the contaminants in the atmosphere is another approach to the control of air pollution. Dilution of pollutants in air depends on atmosphere temperature, speed, and direction of the wind. Vegetation is another way to control air pollution by utilizing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen in the form of photosynthesis.

Conference on Air Pollution Control is aimed to bring together the leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange, share their experiences and research results on all aspects of air pollution and control. It will also provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends. and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of air pollution and control.
