Porcelain Painting, also known as over-glaze painting is an art of turning white porcelain objects into colorful artifacts. This painting involves mineral pigments blended with flux (glass powder) and oils. After painting, the porcelain objects are fired in an electric kiln for
permanent fixation of the colors.
Artist VJ is a porcelain painter who runs her own boutique. She is a professional trainer of porcelain painting, trained and certified in Malaysia and teaches and conducts classes in her own studio at her home and gives talks to clubs and guilds.
She will be at Jxtapose on the 19th of May between 11 AM and 2 PM to conduct this workshop. All materials will be inclusive
