This new year we invite parent-child pairs to come and witness real life rhymes which are action rhymes and are on topics that are meaningful and relevant...
Yes, we all grew up listening to twinkle twinkle and Humpty Dumpty...what of that? What was there to learn in/from it? Nothing relevant to our growing years. Yet the power of rhymes stays with us long after we have forgotten a lot of learnt material over the years. We can still hum the rhymes we heard when we were children without even thinking.
So we thought, if rhymes is such a potent learning fun tool...Why would we not want to use it to enrich our children's growing years with relevant information about real life facts? Why not engage children in movement while they enact rhymes on things they actually see...If we can make the wondrous world of facts available to children - through such a potent learning tool - RHYMES - Why not?
We have had such sessions earlier - with hundreds of parent child pairs - and now we are back with more!
