Trek to Ratangad , 2000 years oldest fort well known for it's needle eye point
Difficulty: Moderate, Highest Elevation: 1295m.
After Ratangad trek we will spend the day in Samrad village till evening and proceed to the tranquil location adjoining the river with picturesque panoramic views of Sahayadri ranges. You may take part in outdoor activities like volleyball, frisbee, swimming, fly kites, etc. followed by rappelling at the Sandhan Valley starting point on the next day

Itinerary:
DAY 1:
• Reporting time at Kasara 01:30 AM (Take 10:50 PM CST - Kasara local train on Friday)
• Reach Base village by hired jeep.
• Event briefing and introduction.
• Ascend to the Ratangad summit (approx 3 hours).
• Breakfast at Ratangad.
• Descend to the base (approx 3 hours).
• Lunch at the Samrad village.
• Rest till evening.
• Go to the campsite, allocation of tents.
• Outdoor activities (volleyball, swimming, kites flying)
• Hangout at the campfire
• Dinner time.
• Bed time in tents
DAY 2:
• Wake up call - 07:00 AM.
• Clear the camping site.
• Fresh up and breakfast - 1 hour.
• Hike to the Sandhan Valley rappelling point near the entrance of the valley.
• 120 feet Rappelling in the Valley.
• Lunch at Samrad Village.
• Return journey to Kasara.
Expenses:
INR 1600 per head Inclusive of transport from Kasara by hired vehicle, Breakfast, Veg Lunch, Veg dinner, tent stay, Rappelling on DAY1 & breakfast, Veg lunch on DAY2.
Excluded: any other expense not mentioned above.
What to Wear: Trekking shoes /outdoor boots/ sports shoes with good grip.
Comfortable clothes (avoid tights, casuals, trousers).
What to bring
Carry a single rucksack with the following things:
• Minimum 2 liters of water.
• Ready to eat snacks dry dry fruits, fruits, energy fluids etc.
• Bedding that includes Sleeping bag or blanket (mandatory).
• Cap/ Hat/mosquito repellent.
• torch with extra pair of battery
• toiletry kit, tissue roll.
• Spare set of clothes..
• Camera to capture beautiful sceneries, Sun screen lotion(optional)
• Don't wear jewelry items and expensive accessories.
• Strictly no littering, carry extra bag for non biodegradable (plastic) wastage.
• Personal medicines if any.
Instructions (Mandatory to read before RSVP to the event!!):
• After online payment participant will need to fill up the mandatory disclaimer online form with accurate details else will be asked to refill by the event host.
• Please do not cause delay and cause inconvenience for others and impact the schedule if you are not able to reach the pickup point on the said time.
• Below 18 must take the consent of the parents to participate.
• Participants will be notified in prior when itinerary is modified/ event gets cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances.
• If there is an unexpected change in weather during the event, organizer has rights to withdraw.
• Participants should pay for the expenses that are not mentioned in the expenses.
• Event schedule may delay or advance due to unforeseen conditions so timings haven't mentioned except in the event start and end time.
• Alcohol consumption/ smoking tobacco/ weed is strictly prohibited. Will be expelled from the event If found with consumption.
• Please do not litter plastic, We commit to keep our events pollute free.
• Separate tented accommodation for females.
• Rappelling is conducted after thoroughly checking the setup by trek leader/ guide to ensure safety.
• Tents may be shareable of 2/3/4 persons.
• Washroom facility is not available near the campsite.
• No concession in event fee if bringing own tent.
• Group discount is not applicable.
• We rely on third party payment gateways to make the registration process simple and feasible, It also includes the convenience fee along with the main event fee which will be shown at check out that should be borne by the participant.
• If participant cancel their registration one day before the event or on the day of the event, a refund of 60% is paid.
• No refund will be provided if participant doesn't show up on the day of the event.
