Amateur & Novice Users can also join and take opportunity to know the Night Sky and observe some of the deep sky objects like Nebulae's, Galaxies, Globular Cluster, Open Clusters, Double Stars and off Planets - Mars, Venus, Mercury & Saturn... no prior knowledge of astronomy is necessary for them. Night Sky Orientation and AV Session will be provided during the Event.
Event Schedule:
Participants are requested to reach the campsite by 5:30 pm. 6:00 - 6:30 pm – Event Registration, Selfie Photos, Group Photo Session & Snacks. 6:15 pm - Sunset 7:00 - 7:30 pm – Session 1 – Introduction Session - Familiarize with Site and Equipment’s. Observe Evening Sky, Satellite/ISS Spotting, Planet Observation (if Any) 7:30 – 8:30 pm – Session 2 – Astronomy Audio - Video Presentation (60 Minutes) 8:30 - 9:30 pm Session 3 - Night Sky Orientation - Finding the North Star - Cassiopeia & Ursa Major, Locate Constellations and Stars. 9:30 – 11:00 pm – Dinner Time 11:00 – 12:30 am – Session 4 – Night Sky Observation Constellations, Star Clusters, Andromeda Galaxy, Orion Nebula and Double Stars 12:00 am – General Observation and Basic Astrophotography (Star Trails & Constellations) 12:30 – 4:30 am – Power Nap – Charge Yourself and Camera/Tablet/Mobile Batteries 4:30 am - Wake-up with Tea 4:30 – 5:30 am – Session 5 – Early Morning Sky Orientation, New Constellations, Double Stars. 5:30 – 6:30 am – Session 6 – ISS/Satellite Spotting and Planets (if Any) 7:00 am - Sunrise, Group Photo, Feedback Session 7:30 – 8:00 am – Breakfast / Tea 8:00 am - Event Closure

Note: In case of the Cloudy Sky, Event will not be cancelled and will continue with Campfire Activities and Enjoy Weather.
Health Safety and Precautionary Measures to be followed mandatorily: 1. Participant must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 - Vaccination Certificate will be checked during Registration. 2. Maintain at least 1 meter distance from others, and wear a mask if you cannot guarantee this distance. Carry extra Mask 3. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, or use a hand sanitizer. 4. Cover a sneeze or cough with a tissue or bent elbow, and immediately dispose of tissue in a closed-lid bin. 5. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. 6. Use of Personal Hand Sanitizer is encouraged and appreciated. 7. Personal Water bottle ½ Litre (Mandatory). 8. Participant Aarogya Setu app health status must show as safe
We appreciate your understanding and support during this critical time, and our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the COVID-19 situation. Your and others safety is in your hands.
Instructions and Pointers: 1. Participant are required to carry ID proof (e.g. PAN card, Driving License) for On Site Camp Registration. 2. Carry enough warm clothing (particularly to keep your ears, body and feet warm) like scarf, sweaters, hood jackets, skull caps, shawls / sheets, Closed Shoes (mandatory). (Temp in Night will dip considerably 16-18 degree C). 3. We will be providing a tent on sharing basis with soft bedding, those who are not used to cold climate It is advisable to carry your own bedsheet & blanket with personal pillow. 4. We recommend that participants stock themselves with Light snacks (Biscuits, Chips & Chocolate and Personal Water bottle ½ Litre (Mandatory) - (Need to drink water regularly to avoid dehydration). 5. Carry a Small Torch (covered with Red Cellophane paper) with Extra pair of Batteries. 6. It is advisable to carry your personal medication (if any) and mosquito repellent cream (odomos). 7. All baggage’s to be wrapped in plastic bags to avoid getting wet (Dew). 8. For Astrophotography interested participant should bring in their own DSLR Camera, Tripod, Remote, Charger and Extra Battery. 9. Organizer are not responsible for any baggage and/or personal belonging loss/damage and participants are solely responsible for the same. Please avoid wearing gold and other ornaments. 10. It goes without saying that littering at the camp-site is not permissible and we will be making arrangements for garbage bin that can be put to their optimum use.
Rules and Regulations: While at the camp-site you (Participants) are requested to strictly adhere to the following rules: 1. Prior Registration is compulsory for all the participants. 2. Although the camp-site is secure with partial fencing, NO ONE should wander off the camp-site without intimating the organizers or without organizer’s permission. 3. Use Site, Equipment’s and Tents with precaution’s – Any Damages to Tents will recovered from Tent allocated participants/students (500/- Per Person) 4. Use of white small torch should be minimal, it should be covered with Red Cellophane paper for using in Night. 5. Please do respect the belongings of others at the campsite and avoid damaging any articles, tents, etc. Any Damage to Tent will be recovered from the participant. 6. Use of mobile phone and camera with flash is to be minimal as possible or AS INSTRUCTED BY THE INSTRUCTORS / ORGANIZERS during the Observation Sessions. 7. Do not Flash Bright Torch or Camera Flash on others during Observation Sessions. HUMAN EYE requires 30 Minutes to completely adapt to the Dark Night Sky. 8. If you are carrying your own observation instrument like telescopes, binoculars, tripods stands Imaging equipment (DSLR Camera and accessories) etc., then you yourself are responsible for all your equipment. 9. Smoking and Drinking Alcohol is strictly prohibited at the Observation Site. Drunken participants will be asked to leave the site immediately. We strongly discourage you to consume alcohol in any form. The Organizers reserve the right to expel offending participants from the camp-site.

Cancellation Policy • 75% refund if notified via phone conversation 8 or more days prior to the event date. • 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 4 to 7 days days prior to the event date. • No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days prior to the event date • No show No Refund. • Event Booking cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation. • Event Booking can be transferred to another person for same day event with prior advance intimation. • If the event gets canceled we will refund "Star Gazing Event Charges" only. • If the event is canceled due to any natural calamity, political unrest or other such reasons beyond our control the same cancellation policy will apply. • As applicable based on cancellation policy terms refund will be processed post Event Completion Date tentative within 5 Working Days.
