ABOUT KRISTU JAYANTI COLLEGE

Kristu Jayanti College, founded in 1999, is run by the “BODHI NIKETAN TRUST”, formed by the members of St. Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and is reaccredited with the highest grade ‘A’ by NAAC.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT (MBA & PGDM)

Kristu Jayanti College is a pioneer institution to pursue knowledge beyond the traditional boundaries. MBA/PGDM programme - a two-year full time programme, spanning over six trimesters, is an autonomous programme, affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The main objective of the programme is to impart quality professional education and training in various aspects of modern management.

ABOUT SYNECTICS

Synectics is an annual National Level Management Fest conducted by the School of Management. This two day extravaganza witnesses the fusion of the finest exponents of managerial acumen, as they compete in a series of events. Every year the students of Kristu Jayanti College organize the fest to provide a platform to all the management students.

SYNECTICS 2k18 comprises of a plethora of events like the Best CEO, Best Entrepreneur, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT/CSR, BQ, Photography and the Best Management Team, wherein B-Schools from all over the country fight it out with the fervour to emerge victorious. This fest aims at combing fun with team spirit, talent and creativity.

Best Entrepreneur

Known for his wisdom and vision, Albus Dumbledore the headmaster of Hogwarts is the founder and leader of the Order of the Phoenix.  His contribution to the wizarding world has created history.

Minerva Mcgonagall

Finance

“Financial Freedom is a Mental, Emotional and Educational Process.”

Minerva Mcgonagall is a professor at Hogwarts and the Deputy Headmistress. A highly intelligent and powerful person and she is always known to be fair and even headed.

As financial managers, do you have what it takes to be quick and stern with your decision and prove its feasibility?

Rubeus Hagrid

Rubeus Hagrid is a friendly, soft-hearted personality and a person who is very loyal to his peers. He is the most approachable person at Hogwarts and is ready to face any problem for his people.

The Weasley Twins

Marketing

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”

Fred and George Weasley are known for their wit and humour. They possess high enthusiasm and creativity. They go on to become the founders of a shop “Weasley and Weasley”  and sell their own magical products.

Do you have the potential in you to follow your dreams and work hard to implement them?

Ron Weasley

IT/CSR

“Technology is best when it brings people together.”

Ron Wealsy, best friend of  Harry potter and one of the most trusted students of Albus Dumbledore. Ron Weasly is known for his courage and ability to try new things, even if he was not sure, he would be good at it.

Hermione Granger

Business Quiz

“Knowledge is having the right answer. Intelligence is asking the right question.”

Hermione Granger, “the brain which constantly spills intelligence”. She is known for her bravery, presence of mind and confidence to answer any question correctly. Being exceptionally talented but always humble.

Colin Creevey

Photography

“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like."

The boy known for his love for photography, is none other than Colin Creevey. Colin is a student at Hogwarts and is known for taking pictures of various situations at the School of magic. Pictures capture the beauty and the emotions at that moment.

Can you transform every picture into a story?

• One member team
• Participant should bring their own camera, laptop & pen drive.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. A team will consist of 17 members. More than 1 team per college are

     allowed.

2. Individual event registration fee is ₹ 500. Team registration fee

     would be ₹ 3500 (inclusive of all events).

3. Reporting time and date -7:50 AM on 5th October 2018.
4. Outstation colleges must contact the Core Team in advance for

     accommodation.

5. Teams participating in all the events of the fest will only be

     eligible for Overall Trophy.

6. The final round of BMT should consist of the Full Team

     (All 17 members).

7. The decision of the College Fest Committee is final and binding.
8. Students should bring their ID cards, laptops, pen drives,

      internet dongles & stationaries.

9. The logos of participating college should not be visible on their blazers.

10. No refund will be given once registration is done.

11. All the participants are requested to come in formal attire.

12. Any concerns must be addressed to the Synectics 2K18 Core Team.
