The ‘6 Minutes Stories” contest is an opportunity for you to explore and showcase your creative talents to a diverse audience. You will get 6 minutes to narrate an inspiring story and win accolades and exciting prizes if the audience votes you the winner. Irrespective of how good or not so good you are at storytelling, if you have an inspiring story to share; we recommend that you enter this contest without any hesitation. This is because all contestants will be provided with a crash course on storytelling by the “Art of Storytelling” team, assigned an experienced mentor to guide them and given opportunities to practice narrating their stories in front of a live audience before the contest goes live.
The crash course will teach you how to
1) Define Story Objectives
2) Research and Compile Quality Content
3) Write Compelling Scripts
4) Use Impactful Language
5) Effectively Use Body Language, Vocal Variety & Visual Aids
With the help of a mentoring team you will be groomed to speak like a pro and compete with anyone. All that is required from you is the desire to learn and commitment to go through the process, proof that you’re over 18 years of age and Rs. 500/- to enter the contest.
The Grand Finale of the contest is scheduled to take place on Saturday 28th August 2021 and before that we will have a series of elimination rounds through July and August. These rounds will be broadcast live on YouTube and will be advertised through various mediums to generate viewership. So here’s a chance to learn something new and showcase yourself on a larger stage.
Contestants will be trained and prepared by 3rd July 2021 when the elimination rounds begin. Winners will get cash prizes and will receive certificates. In fact all participants will receive participation certificates and certificates of completing the Art of Storytelling crash course.
Please note:
The registration fees are nonrefundable in case of contestant’s inability to participate in the contest. While the organizers will strive to provide the contestants with the best possible training, resources and support available with them to help them compete, their responsibility ends the day the crash course is delivered (3rd July 2021). In case a contestant is unable to attend the training when it is delivered live, a recording of the same will be made available to them subsequently. It is entirely the contestant’s responsibility to make use of the support system that is made available to them and generate maximum value from it.
