Event – Baking competition

•Categories -Plum cakes, Mocktails

•Participants’ categories –Rotarians, general public

•Venue –Oberon Mall

•Event date –14th December 2019

Event details

•The event is planned on 14^th December at Oberon Mall from 3 pm to 8 pm.

•The contestants can arrange their cakes and Mocktails from 2 pm to 3 pm.

•Public can view the cakes & mocktails from 3 pm onwards.

•A panel of 3 judges will decide the winners from 4 pm onwards

•Gift hampers will be given to the 3 winners from 2 categories and two participant categories.

 Rules and Regulations for the Cooking contest

Plum Cake

1. Plum cake has to be home made
2. Contestants will have to present 1 portion of the item.
3. The cake should be minimum of ½ kg and a maximum of 1 kg in weight.
4. The Cake will be evaluated based on the following criteria-Taste, Texture , color, visual appeal
5. Marks will not be awarded for icing.
6. Recipes of the cake should be handed over to judges.
7. A short video of the cake baking should be shown to the judges to ensure the authenticity. ( not more than 2 minutes)
8. Decision of the judges will be final.

Mocktail

1. All the ingredients of the drink will have to be brought by the contestants.
2. The drink can be mixed on site or premixed and brought to the venue
3. All required utensils will have to arranged by the contestants.
4. There will not be any food preparation area at the venue.
5. Mocktail should be prepared only using natural ingredients and artificial flavors or colors should not be used.
6. The drink should be non-alcoholic
7. The Mocktail will be evaluated based on the following criteria- Taste, presentation, creativity
8. Should be presented in a transparent glass
9. Recipe of the drink should be handed over to judges.
10. Decision of the judges will be final.
