Kurdugad
The fort Kurdugad or Vishramgad is 90 km away from pune in the Raigad region.
At the base of the village there is Kurdai devi temple.
On Kurdugad, we can find a beautiful cave, Kokan khidki, hanuman burunj and Valley views.
One wil be fascinated to see the rock structure and rock patches.
Height of the fort is 2020 feet/ 670 meters.
Best time to visit the fort is october to february. Greenary gives you pleasure of visiting such enviornment.
Mangad
There is a temple of Goddess Vinjhai on the plateau before entering the fort. Behind the temple one can find stairs built in rock which lead us to the top of the fort and one enters the fort through a main door facing north. This doorway and the bastions are still in good shape whereas there is another doorway on the left which is in complete ruins. One can see a Nagshilpa (Snake carving) on the door’s dilapidated arch.
